Chester Francis Tyminski, P.E., “Chet” of Reading, MA, was born in Greenwich, CT on July 13, 1924, son of the late Karol and Bronislawa Tyminski. Cherished husband for 51 years of the late Marian (McGivern) Tyminski. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law to Stephen and Marie Tyminski, and Elizabeth “Lisa” Tyminski and Michael Kelley. Proud Papa of Major Stephen Tyminski and his wife Deborah. Big Papa to Patrick and Christopher Tyminski. He is also survived by his sister Helen Skrzypczak and by many nieces and nephews and their families. Hewas predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Stanley Tyminski, William Tyminski, Joseph Tyminski, and Blanche Behringer.

 

 

Veteran United States Army Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home, Reading was held on March 20 followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Chet’s Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church. Interment with Military Honors was held in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chet’s name to the Wounded Warriors Project, (supportwoundedwarriorproject.org) or St. Agnes Parish, Reading, MA, (readingcatholic.org).
