
The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) will honor Greenwich-area legal professional, Amy Calvo MacNamara, at its annual awards event, Celebrate with the Stars, held virtually on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
“The Connecticut Bar Association is pleased to honor Attorney Amy Calvo MacNamara for her pivotal role in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said CBA President Amy Lin Meyerson. “Her work with the Family Law Section, family practitioners, and Judicial Branch was critical during this unprecedented time.”
Amy Calvo MacNamara will receive the John Eldred Shields Distinguished Professional Service Award for her outstanding service on behalf of the CBA and for the benefit of the legal community. In addition to running her private practice, The Law Offices of Amy Calvo MacNamara, over the last year, she has been instrumental in liaising with the judiciary and keeping the Family Law Section informed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Attorney MacNamara has worked above and beyond to support both the section and individuals seeking assistance. She led town hall meetings and CLE courses that have reached hundreds of lawyers and kept everyone connected during a critical time.
