The Greenwich Scouting for Food Drive is this Saturday 3/13 from 8:30-12:30pm. Join the Scouts in their Neighbor to Neighbor drive-up food drive. Grab some protein in a can: tuna, chicken, chili, spam, peanut butter, beans, fruit- dried or canned, oatmeal to donate. Stop by to one of two drop off locations: Greenwich Police Department and the Eastern Civic Center.
Eat local and support local. On Tuesdays in March and on April 6, dine at one of our hometown restaurants and they will donate to the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. All proceeds raised support the Torch Club project initiatives. This club is a leadership and community service club within Boys & Girls Club for youth ages 11-13.

Doing some spring cleaning? Please donate to Kids Helping Kids. They are collecting dresses and accessories for their annual Handled with Care Boutique. You can drop off your gently used dresses at the following locations now through April 8: AAA: 1115 High Ridge Road, A Step Ahead: 1034 High Ridge Road, A Step Ahead: 1034 High Ridge Road, Stamford. Do you have a pantry full of large grocery bags? Community Centers Inc needs grocery bags for their food distribution to low income families living in Greenwich. Bags can be dropped off at 2 St. Roch Avenue Greenwich. Keep in mind CCI is still collecting donations for over 100 Easter baskets which will be given out to our community members. The speakers are Diana Klingner, Friends of Tod’s Point Board Member and Larry Imbrogno, Tod Point’s Resident Caretaker. Diana will bring us up to date on current horticultural projects at our town treasure – Tod’s Point. Larry will provide a video pointing out areas of interest and development at the Point as well as tales of what it is like to live there and raise a young family!
