Antonia DiStefano, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully Monday, March 8. She was 86. Born March 7, 1935 in Morra De Sanctis, Italy to Domenico and Angela Colonna; Antonia moved with her family to Switzerland, before immigrating to the United States. Antonia loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Elia. Antonia is survived by her loving children Maria and Michael (Anna); her cherished grandchildren Sarah Perez, Anthony Perez, Amanda Karamanlidis, Samantha Garrison, Alex DiStefano, Isabella DiStefano-Mulas, and great-grandchildren Richie Oliva, Alia Manna, Brad Higgins, Mason Higgins, and Luca Perez.
To honor her life, family and friends will gather Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at the St. Roch Church. Entombment to follow at Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich.
