Greenwich got hit with more than eight inches of snow by Monday afternoon. Downtown Greenwich was virtually empty except for the occasional dog walker. The National Weather Service predicts another three to six inches of snow before it finally tapers off Tuesday morning. A Snow Emergency remains in effect in Greenwich until further notice.
