Greenwich Gets A Snow Day, Schools Closed

The Board of Selectmen have declared a snow emergency in advance of the winter storm expected to arrive overnight. A reverse 911 call to all town residents informed them of the emergency and what they should expect. As a result all public schools are cancelled for tomorrow. Greenwich Country Day, Greenwich Academy and Brunswick School are also closed tomorrow, Sacred Heart Greenwich students will have distance learning tomorrow. The National Weather Service is currently predicting between 14 and 20 inches of snow from late this evening until tomorrow evening with winds gusting to 50 miles per hour.

A warming station is available for those who may need it in the Greenwich Public Safety Complex lobby.
