Tom Seaver, Legendary Mets Pitcher, Remembered in Greenwich

Tom Seaver, one of the greatest pitchers of all-time, passed away at his home in California on Aug. 31 due to complications from Lewy Body dementia and COVID-19. Seaver was diagnosed with dementia in 2019, and subsequently retired from public life. He was 75 years old.

The Undies Project has been learning how to adjust to continuing to support its partner organizations during these unprecedented times. Getting donations of underwear out to those in need and pivoting their fundraiser to a virtual event has certainly been challenging. With the support of the local community they are able to continue to fulfill their mission.
