Pen Women Zoom Open Mic Night

open-mic

Greenwich Pen Women, a non-profit organization of local women artists, writers, and musicians, presents a virtual community Open Mic Night in partnership with Greenwich Library and Cos Cob Library, on Wednesday, July 8 at 6 p.m. All are invited to register for the event either as a presenter or an audience member.

An Open Mic Night is a live event during which participants have a five-minute time slot to read their own fiction, memoir, poetry, play scenes, lyrics, blogs, or other written work. Artists and musicians can use five minutes to, for example, share inspiration behind a painting or to perform a jazz riff.

What piece will you pick for your five minutes in the spotlight?

Registration is available at greenwichlibrary.org. All Greenwich residents regardless of gender are welcome to participate or attend as an audience member; all must register.

This event is part of the “Imagine Your Story” Adult Summer Reading program.
