

Carmen Rocco Carriero, 80, of Bonita Springs, Florida, a native of Port Chester, NY and Greenwich, CT died on June 21, 2020.
Carmen was born on March 11, 1940 in Port Chester, NY to Catherine and Joseph Carriero who predeceased him, and was raised and educated in Port Chester, NY. He was also a Port Chester High School graduate. He eventually moved to Greenwich, CT where he lived for many years and raised his family there. He was a machinist at Premiere Microwave. Carmen then moved to Bonita Springs, Florida for retirement. He loved living in Florida. He was an avid hunter and fisher, and loved spending time with his family. He loved the Florida weather and lifestyle.
Carmen is survived by his devoted wife, Lois Carriero of Bonita Springs, Florida and his children Mark Carriero and his wife Sue Carriero of Greenwich, CT, and Joanne Maida and her husband Anthony Maida of Port Chester, NY. In addition to his two children, Carmen is survived by his beloved four grandchildren: Laura and Rebecca Maida of Port Chester, and Emily and Joey Carriero of Greenwich, CT. In addition to Carmen’s grandchildren, he is survived by his brother Sam Carriero of Port Chester, NY and his sister Marie Mignone of Michigan.
Carmen is predeceased by his two brothers Vincent and Anthony Carriero.
A memorial to celebrate Carmen’s life will be celebrated at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Carmen Carriero may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
