In reading Nancy Burke’s commentary, my reaction is that one bad situation, does not reflect the status of the bigger picture.
We are so fortunate to have a police force, under the direction of Chief Heavey, that can stand up and reflect the best ethical and moral Standards of any police facility.
We should honor and respect the manner in which they defend and protect our community.
They do set an example for other municipalities to follow.
