The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) announces “The Little Enchanted Forest” will take place at the Greenwich Botanical Center the weekend of Nov. 23 and 24. “The Little Enchanted Forest” offers the favorite elements of the Junior League of Greenwich’s signature event “The Enchanted Forest” which had been a beloved holiday experience for over 40 years.
JLG President Hilary Watson explains, “For more than forty years, Greenwich embraced The Enchanted Forest and watched it grow from a small group of trees in the basement of St. Catherine’s Church to the 3-day festival at the Greenwich Hyatt. Now, the Junior League of Greenwich wants to bring the best parts of this event to the Greenwich Botanical Center and introduce a whole new generation to it.”
The family friendly event will include a “little” forest of decorated trees for auction, a holiday boutique, and wreath making workshops. The Children’s Giving Shop, a child centered shopping experience where kids can shop independently for holiday gifts, is another highlight of the weekend. Santa Claus will also return to hear those holiday wishes and pose for keepsake photos.
The Little Enchanted Forest Hours are: Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 24, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To learn more and to purchase tickets, please visit jlgreenwich.org
