Eversource will be conducting aerial inspections of high-voltage electrical equipment on rights of way throughout Connecticut, including Greenwich. This is a semiannual inspection and it involves the use of a helicopter flying over Eversource’s transmission line corridors to check for any emerging vegetation and equipment issues that may threaten electric reliability.
The aerial inspections begin this week and continue through November 21. Weather permitting; flights will take place from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
