Whitby Students Lead a Grassroots Effort to Ban Single-Use Plastic Bottles in Greenwich
The banning of single-use plastic bottles is a growing trend across the world. Greenwich, with its 32 miles of shoreline and four town beaches, is vulnerable to the negative impact of plastic bottles. “Greenwich Bottles No More” was founded by three Whitby School students to educate the public and ban the use in their hometown.
