As part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the power grid and increase reliability, Eversource will be conducting aerial surveys of high-voltage lines in southwest Connecticut, including Greenwich. This inspection involves the use of a helicopter flying over Eversource’s transmission line corridors to check for any emerging vegetation issues that may threaten electric reliability.
The surveys will take place Thursday and Friday, May 23 and 24 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.
