Join Audubon Greenwich and Skip The Straw Greenwich for their annual celebration of “Boots, Beaks, & Breakfast: A World Migratory Bird Day Celebration,” on Saturday, May 11 from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Across the globe bird lovers will be celebrating the return of migratory birds and raising awareness of their importance on our planet. The event will begin with a relaxing walk from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. in search of migrant birds. Afterward, participants will enjoy a breakfast and activities in the barn. Children and parents can join outside for a family bird walk at 9:15 a.m. followed by a special Live Raptor Show by Christine’s Critters at 10 a.m. Wildlife Rehabilitator Christine Peyreigne will be bringing several live hawks, owls, falcons and even a Bald Eagle. All ages are welcome.

The 6:30 a.m. bird walk is free and the admission for the remainder of activities is $10 per person. For more information and to RSVP, contact Ryan MacLean at 914-417-5234 or rmaclean@audubon.org, or visit greenwich.audubon.org/events. Audubon Greenwich is located at 613 Riversville Ave.
