The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) is hosting an Evening of Technology: “A Night Out With Your Cellphone” on Wednesday, May 8 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Greenwich Senior Center (299 Greenwich Ave.). In a world full of technology, chances are you or someone in your family has felt helpless by high-tech equipment. JLG volunteers will guide members of the Senior Center and share the latest trends to help improve their technology skills.
Members of the Junior League will hold a short presentation to show how technology, specifically cellphones, can enhance your life. After this presentation, the group will break out for one-on-one sessions to answer individual questions. All participants are welcome to bring cell phones, smart devices, computers and tablets and are encouraged to ask questions and bring new skills to their peers.
A complimentary dinner will be offered and all participants will be entered into a raffle to win fun prizes.
