Spring Fever Skate Jam is April 6

The Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrating the opening of the Skate Park this spring with “Spring Fever Skate Jam.” The event, to be held Saturday, April 6 from 12 to 6 p.m., is for anyone who wants to skate, or learn how to skate.

There will be free lessons for beginner skaters from 12 to 1:30 p.m. The event will also feature games of skate, food trucks and music.

Advance registration is available at greenwichct.gov/webtrac. In person registration will be accepted at the Skate Park and at the Greenwich Town Hall, Parks and Recreation office.

The Skate Park is located at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.
