Join St. Catherine of Siena Church next Reflections on Religious Identity within the Contemporary World series on Sunday, Feb. 17 as Deacon Robert Henrey speaks on “Pre-Columbian Peru and the Age of Discovery – A Tragic Clash of Cultures.” The one-hour slide presentation, which includes a Q&A, will begin after the 10:30 Mass by 11:45 a.m., in the Lucey Parish Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Henrey shares his interest in different religious traditions via lectures presenting his own photographs taken while visiting countries where those traditions took root. The lecture provides an opportunity to invite discussion and encourage the sharing of ideas on highly topical, contemporary religious and social issues.
