The Greenwich Police Department is currently investigating a two-car motor vehicle crash which occurred Wednesday evening on North Street in the area of Saint Mary’s Cemetery that resulted in four people being treated at area hospitals for injuries.

At around 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, GPD received a 911 call reporting that a black Mercedes Benz was driving erratically on North Street. The call was followed by a report of a head-on collision involving that vehicle and a full-sized SUV.

According to the GPD, the driver of the Mercedes Benz was taken to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There were three occupants in the full-sized SUV who suffered minor injuries. They were treated at a local hospital.

If anyone has information on the incident, they’re encouraged to call Officer Roger Drench in the Traffic Section at 203-622-8014.
