According to the Greenwich Police Department, a motor vehicle accident involving a bike was reported in Old Greenwich on Tuesday morning.
Greenwich police investigated the accident, which occurred on Sound Beach Avenue, at around 8 a.m. The operator of the bike was a 10-year-old Greenwich resident, who suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries. The child was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
The operator of the motor vehicle was not charged.
