Winterfest Celebration at Greenwich Library

Join the Greenwich Library for a special Winterfest celebration on Saturday, Dec. 15, with songs, stories and holiday-themed crafts for all, as well as a family-friendly musical featuring fun characters, singalongs and plenty of audience participation.

Winterfest-Themed Storytime from 10:30 to 11 a.m. A special storytime featuring songs and stories for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary age children. No registration required.

Winterfest Drop-In Children’s Crafts & Activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to make your own play dough snowman, snowflake sun catcher and picture frame ornament. No registration required.

Friends Children’s Series: ‘Stand Up and Cheer’ by the Paper Bag Players from 1 to 2 p.m. Join in for a family-friendly hour brimming with lively music and dance, raucous audience participation, larger-than-life characters, singalong songs, and hilarious stories, all wrapped in signature paper and cardboard costumes and sets. Registration, using the Library’s online calendar, is encouraged. 

Winterfest STEAM Activity: Create a Winter Wire Loop Game from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Learn basic circuitry to make a wire loop game to bring home. For ages 8 to 12. Please arrive five minutes early, as the activity will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. No experience is necessary; all materials provided. Space is limited.
