
The Greenwich Chapter of Room to Read, a global non-profit focused on literacy and girls’ education, is hosting an evening with New York Times bestselling author Meg Wolitzer and New York Times writer Sarah Lyall, Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. the event takes place at Greenwich Country Day School Performing Arts Center, 401 Old Church Rd.
The author of The Wife, The Untouchables, The Interestings and most recently, The Female Persuasion, Wolitzer was the Guest Editor of The Best American Short Stories 2017 and is a faculty member of the MFA program at Stony Brook Southampton. In addition to her work with the New York Times, Lyall is the author of the book The Anglo-files, a Field Guide to the British.
Proceeds will benefit Room to Read’s Literacy Program in Nepal.
