Anne Richiski was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Daughter of Joseph and Sophie Tomcheck At age nine, Anne moved to Greenwich, CT. During the war years she met her future husband, Louis Richiski. They married in 1945, while Lou was still in the Navy. Lou and Anne built a home in Riverside, CT, where they raised their three children, John, Janet and Richard. Anne and her family loved the warm beaches of Tod’s Point, the Jersey Shore and Cape Cod.
Anne is survived by her grandchildren Matt, Lauren and Steven, and was predeceased by granddaughter Carolyn; great-grandmother to Brendan, Reis, Finn and Charles.
A mass was held Oct. 20 at St. Catherine’s Church at followed by interment at St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Carolyn Rich Memorial Scholarship, Mt. St. Mary College, Powell Ave. Newburgh, NY 12550.
