Josephine L. Skovron (Dzaluk), 94, of Greenwich, CT left this Earth for Eternal Rest on Oct. 13, 2018. Born in Poland to Katherine and Joseph Dzaluk on March 18, 1924.
Josephine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great “Granny,” who adored her family with all her heart. She always had a smile on her face and kind words to say.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Bertolf (Gustave), son, Kevin, along with seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Skovron in 2017 and her son Walter J. Skovron III in 2016.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St., and she will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Chester, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers she wished everyone to make a donation to the charity of their choice.
