Cos Cob School will be closed Tuesday, October 9 due to ongoing assessment of damage as a result of a water leak. Restoration and environmental consultants, and Town officials, among others are or will be on-site to assess the damage, conduct air-quality testing, and to estimate the clean up and restoration plan and timeline. District and school administrators are reviewing plans to address impacted classrooms in order to be able to resume school as soon as possible. Once the assessments have been completed, the District will have a better idea of the timeline.
Cos Cob School Open House scheduled for Thursday, October 11 is canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date, to be determined.
