On Monday, Oct. 1, the Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) opened enrollment for its PositivelyMe! program for 3rd grade girls. The program helps girls develop the skills to be confident, to make good decisions, to be assertive, and to express themselves – all while meeting new friends and having lots of fun! Four two-day sessions are offered and run Friday 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees must attend both Friday and Saturday of their session.
This year’s sessions will be held: Jan. 11 to 12, 2019, Feb. 1 to 2, 2019, March 1 to 2, 2019 and April 5 to 6, 2019.
Girls participate in a variety of activities including dance, drawing, crafts, and special projects.
• The program is free to the community.
• Each session will accommodate approximately 36 girls.
• Participants will receive a placement confirmation in mid-December.
