Gabriele’s of Greenwich Hires Dana Cifone

Gabriele’s of Greenwich announced that Dana Cifone has joined the organization as the Director of Events and Marketing. Well-known for her outstanding work as a restaurateur, she brings more than a decade of experience in the hospitality and events industry within Greenwich and the greater New York area.

Cifone’s hire coincides with the renovation to Gabriele’s second floor, which is currently underway. The space will be available beginning in September and is expected to attract more weddings, corporate events and private dining events. Cifone is already very busy working with guests to plan great events. Additionally, she will be promoting new initiatives in the bar and main restaurant.

Cifone commented: “I am very excited. Gabriele’s already has a tremendous reputation in Westchester and Fairfield Counties for incredible cuisine and outstanding customer service. Starting in a few weeks, we’ll have our fully renovated second floor ready for parties, events and weddings. The space is gorgeous – the bar and fireplace look great, and it’s all very functional and versatile. We’ll be able to handle almost anything.”

Longtime Executive Chef Joe Giordano added: “Dana is a great fit for our team. Our guests already love working with her. She’ll take what we are known for, a sophisticated and exquisite dining experience, and help us bring it to the next level by making the classic Gabriele’s experience come alive in the new space and in her own way.”

“By the way,” added Giordano, “as far as our menu,  guests should rest assured that we haven’t forgotten who we are, but we have added a few lighter fares to the menu that should be a pleasant surprise.”

For many years Gabriele’s has been Greenwich’s preeminent steakhouse, attracting guests from New York City, Westchester and Fairfield county. The kitchen is led by Chef Joe Giordano.  Today, the restaurant offers a delicious take on the classic steakhouse with a selection of tantalizing seafoods and pastas and lighter fares.

Gabriele’s is open from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Lunch is served on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For reservations, please call 203-622-4223 or visit gabrielesofgreenwich.com
