Greenwich resident Catherine Hogan was located Thursday evening at a business in Yonkers, N.Y., in Westchester County. She has since returned home safely.

Original story

The Greenwich Police Department has issued a notice on a missing woman from Old Greenwich.

Katherine Hogan, 90, driving a red 1993 Toyota Camry with license plate 954-DRA, left her home in Old Greenwich Thursday around 9 a.m., en route to CVS Riverside. Hogan was due to arrive at the Edge Hill Retirement community in Stamford around 11 a.m., but uncharacteristically didn’t show up. Hogan’s husband said she is “forgetful”, but she hadn’t been diagnosed with any illness.

In the past, Hogan has left her home and returned later, saying she was lost. In those instances, Hogan has not left the confines of the Town of Greenwich.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Greenwich Police Department at 203-622-8000. A Silver Alert has been issued.
