Thomas R. Crawford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 6 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
A lifelong Greenwich resident he was born March 15, 1952 to Dorothy and the late Richard Crawford. Thomas was a retired foreman plumber who enjoyed the ocean and spending time with his beloved dog Sarah. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Crawford and Jessica Franco (Dominick); grandchildren Jordan Cervantes, Kylie Franco, and Kacey Franco; sisters Karen Crawford and Carol Lyons (Rick); mother Dorothy Crawford. He is also survived by the mother of his children Carol Crawford, many cousins and nephews including cousin Peter Crawford who was like a brother.
To honor his life, family and friends will gather Tuesday, July 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. A prayer service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or your local ASPCA.
