The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the Bob Button Orchestra will perform at Binney Park on Wednesday, June 27 from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m., as part of the Wednesday Night Concert Series. The rain date is June 28.
This 12-piece orchestra will present a program of big band classics as originally recorded by the famous bands of the Swing Era. Gail Clear is the featured vocalist.
This is the first Parks & Rec. concert of the summer season. Other upcoming Wednesday Night Concerts will be held in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, and will feature The Tribunes – Doo Wop on July 11 and Gunsmoke on July 18.
