The Arguimbau Art Gallery is presenting a joint Mother’s Day Show with Peter Arguimbau and Sculptor Paige Bradley. The show will open Thursday, May 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery, 351 Greenwich Ave.

Bradley, a figurative sculptor, explores the human body as the vehicle to communicate today’s struggles, isolations, limitations and brokenness.

Her work captures the light of the spirit and the power of the body. People connect profoundly to the imagery of her sculptures. For twenty years Bradley has held sculpture studios in London, California and New York. The artist’s collectors know her as prolific, creating work that speaks to today’s sensibilities and enjoyed for generations to come.

Arguimbau Art Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting classical figurative art. The owner, Peter Arguimbau is an American painter, restorer and historian of classical art. He paints portraits, animals, and landscapes, but is sought after for his classical marines.

Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. or by appointment at 203-274-6176.
