Friends of Greenwich Point to Host ‘Spring at the Farm’

baby-duckling-and-goat

The Friends of Greenwich Point (FofGP) invites the community to explore the natural wonders of spring on the farm with a naturalist from Heckscher Farm at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center on Sunday, April 29 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

At the farm, the first babies of the season are welcomed, as the maple syrup season winds down. Meet a few new babies, such as a chick, duckling and goat kid, and discover how the maple syrup season was this year. Learn how maple syrup is made, how the finished product is graded and get a chance to try some.

The event will take place at Innis Arden Cottage, Greenwich Point Park. There will be Live Animal Presentations at 1:15 and 2 p.m. All ages welcome.

For more information about this event, please email the FofGP Education Committee at info@friendsofgreenwichpoint.org
