Tree Work, Removal Operation Begin Today

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced a revised timeline for a tree work and removal operation that will be performed on Route 15 Northbound and Southbound in Greenwich and Stamford.

Work on this project will begin on Monday, March 26 and conclude on Wednesday, April 14.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 31, North Street and Exit 33, Den Road in Greenwich and Stamford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be used to guide motorists through the work zone.

The regular work schedule for this project is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Northbound and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Southbound – Monday through Friday.

No work will be performed through Easter Weekend, Thursday, March 29 through Monday, April 2.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
