In celebration of National Creative Arts Therapy Week, The Greens at Greenwich will be partnering with the Bruce Museum for two creative arts therapy workshops in March: “Experiencing the Art Within You.” The workshops will explore the artist within as Creative Arts Therapists share experiences through dance/movement, art, drama and music. They will take place on the following dates:
Thursday, March 15, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Art and Music Therapy – led by Deborah Shaw-Appel, Art Therapist and Kimberly Williams, Music Therapist.
Friday, March 16, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Dance/Movement and Drama Therapy – led by Beth Liebowitz, Dance/Movement Therapist & Maria Scaros, Drama Therapist.
Workshops are free and open to the community. Those interested may attend one workshop or both. They will be held at the Bruce Museum, 1 Museum Dr. Space is limited and registration is required.
