On Saturday, March 10 at 4:30 p.m., Second Congregational Church will hold its Annual Youth Choir Spring Concert, featuring classic Disney songs. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
Church Organist Alexander Constantine is a long-time music teacher in Greenwich and a former cast member at Walt Disney World. He says: “When you open the Disney musical vault, you are immediately transported to an almost endless library of songs. They are a beloved part of everyone’s childhood.”
This year, the youth choirs are under the direction of Interim Director, Heidi Haskins, who is also an instructor at Greenwich Academy and an accomplished vocalist and performer.
“Our singers range in age from Kindergarten to high school,” she says. “Watching their skills develop is exciting, but most of all, we love seeing them fall in love with music. They’ve been working hard to get ready for the concert and will be great.”
All attendees are welcome to dress in their favorite Disney costume. Donations for the choir are gladly accepted.
