Join filmmaker, Sanjay Rawal, for a behind-the-scene his upcoming film, 3100: Run and Become, Tuesday, March 6 at 7 p.m.
Sanjay, who directed and produced the James Beard Award-winning documentary Food Chains, spent two years with Navajo, Bushman and esoteric Asian cultures that still use running as a pathway to enlightenment. At the same time, he focused the narrative of this film around the world’s longest running race, the annual Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Run, which requires its 15 participants to average 60 miles a day for 52 days and is conducted entirely around a 1/2 mile sidewalk loop in Queens.
