Greenwich Scholarship Association (“GSA”) is now accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors who reside in Greenwich or attend Greenwich High School.
GSA awards need-based scholarships from local sponsors in an effort to bridge the gap between college costs and family ability to pay. Financial need as determined from a FAFSA application is a prerequisite for consideration with any scholarship from GSA. The online application is currently available on the GSA website, greenwichscholarship.org and the deadline for submission is March 10.
The application process involves submitting the online application, as well as submitting the Student Aid Report (SAR) generated upon completion of the FAFSA. All qualifying applicants must attend an interview at with GSA Board Members at Greenwich High School on Wednesday, May 2 and attend Scholarship Night hosted in the GHS Performing Arts Center on Thursday, June 7 at 6 p.m. Applicants who do not meet the financial criteria for GSA scholarships will be notified in early April.
