Phyllis M. Capparelle, 92, of Greenwich, died Jan. 31, 2018 at her home.
Born in Montreal, Canada on April 11, 1925 the daughter of the late James Dwyer and Mary Bennett Dwyer. She was married to the late Frank Capparelle, Jr. for 57 years, and they enjoyed traveling the world together.
She was a supportive and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Phyllis was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain family and friends. She was proud to have been a member of the tap dancing company, The Foxtrotters.
She is survived by her daughter Dale Horton and her husband, Stephen Horton, her son, Dean Capparelle, Sr. and his wife, Lou-Ann Capparelle, her six grandchildren Ariana Kuehne, Brett Horton and Dean Jr., Brian, Caitlin and Colin Capparelle, her three great-grandchildren Logan and Claire Capparelle and Isla Kuehne, her brother, Burten Dwyer, two sisters Joan Dwyer and Eleanor Parent and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 9. A service will follow immediately thereafter at the funeral home.
