Up first – one of the most popular collaborations for Curiosity Concerts and the Greenwich Library is back by popular demand
On Sunday, Jan. 28, The Greenwich Choral Society takes you on a journey through masterpieces of vocal music. Revel in the joy of more than 30 voices presenting highlights from some of the great choral classics. Enjoy Vivaldi, Schubert, and Verdi, and also join your voice with the choristers’ as they reveal the mystery of terms such as allegro con moto and contrafactum. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, as we move you through the musical sounds of many different eras and cultures! Led by music director Paul Mueller. The Greenwich Choral Society is presented through the GCS’s own support and in partnership with the Ashforth Children’s Concert Series of the Greenwich Library.
The concert is free and takes place from 3 to 4 p.m., in the Cole Auditorium of the Greenwich Library, 101 West Putnam Ave. Reservations required at: CuriosityConcerts.org
