Support Garden Education Center on ‘Giving Tuesday’

gec-giving-tuesday

On Tuesday, Nov. 28, charities, families, businesses, community center and students all over will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.

Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar. #GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season: a reminder of the “reason for the season.”

The Garden Education Center of Greenwich is currently celebrating its 60th year of providing expert knowledge in the fields of horticulture, conservation, and floral design to the general public.

Your donation will help them continue to provide horticulture therapy to over 150 seniors in the Greenwich community on a monthly basis as well as offer workshops and lectures on nature related topics. Their teaching vegetable garden provided weekly deliveries of fresh produce to Neighbor to Neighbor during the growing season.
