The Friends and Staff welcome new and seasoned family historians to another of the popular Genealogy Workshops with Tony Lauriano on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Cos Cob Library’s Community Room.
Lauriano will show how to research and procure family records when you have limited family information and limited time for research. He will also discuss overcoming the difficulty of name changes and incorrect spellings. Many types of records will be explored including Federal Census, Ships Manifests, birth, marriage and death records. There will be time for questions and answers.
This program is free, no reservations are required and refreshments will be served. For more information, call the library at 203-622-6883.
