Williams, Walker to Speak at ‘Authorslive@GreenwichLibrary’

Writers Beatriz Williams and Wendy Walker will appear together on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Greenwich Library Meeting Room, as part of Authorslive@GreenwichLibrary.

Wendy Walker’s latest thriller Emma in the Night was a Library Reads pick for August 2017. The New York Times calls it “a thriller that keeps readers guessing.” This psychological thriller, with many unreliable characters, will keep readers off-kilter and uncertain, even after one final twist.

Beatriz Williams returns to Greenwich having just released her latest novel, Cocoa Beach. Williams’s memorable characters and layered plots link themes of mystery, romance, prohibition, infidelity into a gripping read.

Walker is a former family law attorney in Fairfield County, Connecticut who began writing while at home raising her three sons. She published two novels with St. Martin’s Press and edited multiple compilations for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series before writing her debut psychological thriller, All is Not Forgotten. Her second thriller, Emma In The Night, was released August 8, 2017. Visit wendywalkerbooks.com

Williams’s debut novel Overseas became an international sensation, while New York Times best seller A Hundred Summers probed classic themes of love in a Depression-era tale. Her books have been translated into 12 languages. Visit beatrizwilliams.com
