The Greenwich Wine Society is embarking on its Fifth Annual “Wine Lovers’ Cruise” on Friday, Sept. 29. The event will take place aboard the wood-hulled “Patience” (docked alongside the Delamar Hotel), departing from Greenwich Harbor at 6 p.m. Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of seasonally appropriate wines plus hors d’oeuvres catered by Burke Catering, including fresh oysters on the half-shell.
The Patience will cruise around local waters and return after approximately two hours on Long Island Sound.
Reservations are recommended. The cost is $85 in advance, or $90 at the dock.
