The Friends of the Cos Cob Library will hold their Annual Open House and Children’s Book Sale on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Activities, crafts, and musical entertainment begin at 1 p.m., including a caricaturist and face painter. In keeping with the summer reading theme of Build a Better World, there will be a ‘cup stacking’ workshop at 3 p.m.
Don’t forget the annual “surprise” visit by the ice cream truck, which is a favorite for all. Refreshments will be available and the Summer Reading prizes will be drawn for both the children’s and adult programs.
For members of The Friends of Cos Cob Library, there will be a 12 p.m. preview sale of children’s books. Non-members may join at the event.
