Rabbi Gerson to Lead First Shabbat, Summer Events

Greenwich Reform Synagogue (GRS) welcomes its new rabbi, Jordie Gerson, who will be leading her first Shabbat service Friday, July 14 at 7 p.m. The program will start with a pre-oneg at 6:30 p.m., and services will follow.

GRS will be holding other events led by rabbi Gerson:

Saturday, July 29 at 5 p.m. – Summer BBQ – Family friendly barbecue followed by Havdalah service. Sign up in advance at grs.org

Saturday, Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. – Join Rabbi Gerson for a Shabbat hike through Pomerance Park. Rain date is Sunday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.

Saturday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. – Havdalah wine and cheese reception.

Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m. – Rosh Chodesh – Join Rabbi Gerson and the women on GRS to welcome the new moon.
