Chabad Holds Summer Family Events

Chabad of Greenwich has an exciting slate of events this summer for the Jewish Community in and around Greenwich.

Camp Gan of Greenwich, at Carmel Academy, 270 Lake Ave. has begun. On its last day, Aug. 10, it will host an end of year BBQ for all camp families and staff.

On Friday, July 14, at 2:15 p.m., come see Camp Gan children put on live dance productions of a Hip Hop Show for Moms, and a Steve Max Simon Says Show for Dads.

On Friday, July 21, at 2:15 p.m., Camp Gan students will put on their annual theater production, which this year is the Free to Be You And Me Theater Show.

On Thursday, July 27, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., Chabad of Greenwich will hold its annual parenting conference at Carmel Academy. The conference will feature seminars, a full dinner, and keynote speaker Slovie Jungreis-Wolff, author of Raising a Child With a Soul. Tickets are $45 per person, or $180 for sponsors (which includes two tickets).

On Friday, July 28, at 2:15 p.m., come see the Camp Gan children perform “Circus of the Kids,” a live circus production, at Carmel Academy.

Every Friday at 12:30 p.m. throughout the summer, Chabad of Greenwich hosts a Mommy & Me class with child entertainer Bobby DooWah, at the Chabad House, 75 Mason St.
