Tree Conservancy Holds Anniversary Concert

The Greenwich Tree Conservancy, with the Friends of Greenwich Point and the Greenwich Point Conservancy, invite the community to their 10th Anniversary Celebration Concert Sunday, June 25 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Seaside Garden at Greenwich Point.

The concert will feature The Madera Winds. The quintet features Janet Atherton, clarinet; Kerry Walker, flute; Rosemary Dellinger, bassoon; Ralph Kirmser, oboe; Zachary Glavan, horn. The musicians in the group have been active in Connecticut and New York City for up to 30 years.

The celebratory program will highlight the beauty and benefits of trees. A demonstration on how reeds are made will be included.
