The seventh season of the Old Greenwich Farmers Market will begin on Wednesday, May 31 at 38 West End Ave., at the Presbyterian Church of Old Greenwich.
Market hours remain 2:30 to 6 p.m. The market will run each Wednesday afternoon, rain or shine, through Nov. 15. Opening day will be celebrated with live music and local hot food truck – Dough Girls Pizza. Returning farms include Riverbank Organics, The Back 40 Farm, Smith’s Acres, Woodland Farms, Moorefield Farms, and Truelove Farms. Offerings include locally grown organic and traditionally farmed produce, plants, flowers, eggs, meats, and fruit. Other local vendors will offer artisan breads and treats, pies, raviolis, pastas, soups, sauces, homemade pet food, and there is also a prayer tent.
