Dolphins Pay a Visit to Greenwich Area During Midday Friday

The Greenwich area had some friendly visitors earlier today and a local photographer was there to snap some photos.

Greenwich resident Patty Doyle was in Long Island Sound around noon today. Just outside of Rye, N.Y., Doyle noticed several dolphins swimming around the area and put her camera and  zoom lens to good use, snapping several photos of the dolphins.

“It was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen,” said Doyle. “My son said that my reaction was lots of spontaneous screams. The pod was huge. There were so many of them, all around the boat. I just kept shooting pictures.”
