First Baptist Church Greenwich is turning 120 years old and will be celebrating its anniversary with a luncheon on Saturday, May 20 at 11:30 a.m., at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, 1800 E. Putnam Ave.
Four honorees of this event will receive the First Baptist Church Impact Award. The recipients are: Ms. Katia Michailidis, Director of Major Gifts at Greenwich Hospital, Daniel Williams, Former Assistant Principal of Western Middle School, Dr. Sunai Rana, MD, International Missionary and Dr. Dennie Simmons Jr., Decorated Veteran and Dentistry Practitioner.
First Baptist Church was established 120 years ago by African American domestic workers, who relied on their faith to see them through challenges many of us could never imagine.
